MR. OU PHANNARITH

Mr. OU Phannarith started his professional life in 2002 as a Web Developer and System Analyst. Becoming interested in security, he moved into Information Security field in 2005. Until December 2007, he has been appointed to the Head of National Cambodia Computer Emergency Response Team (CamCERT) as the permanent member of Cybercrime Law Formulation Working Group under Council of Ministers in 2011.

In Feb 2014, He has been appointed as Director of ICT Security Department of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC).

Besides, his main duties, he is also the independent consultant for various international companies and organizations on IT and Cybersecurity.

He has been invited to present in global conferences, forums, and seminars and has published articles for both locally and internationally. In December 2012, he was awarded as one of the top 10 Chief Information Security Officers in ASEAN by the International Data Group.

Currently, he is the part-time senior lecturer at Build Bright University, Phnom Penh on various subjects such as Information Security, IT Law, E-Commerce Technology and Management of Technology.
